My story

I have always been drawn and curious to what makes humans human. The unseen and the observable characteristics that come together to make us.

Growing up was a wild and wonderful journey. My parents met through kismet internationally and provided a very unconventional life. I was experienced many cultures both from travel as well as from am unique and chaotic family system. My children taught me resilience and a deep respect for the complexity of human relationships.

By 16, I’d graduated high school; by 20, college. I spent the next few years travelling the world, living many lives before the age of 22. I have always been a deeply energetic person and found exercise helpful, however after injuries sustained from yoga and running, I started to train my body with weights and found an inner strength that I deeply needed to face my own anxiety and challenges. Equipped with this experience and knowledge, it no longer made sense to have a 9-5 at Sony and so I left that chapter to pursue an entrepreneur’s path.

I launched a personal training business in Los Angeles and quickly became a successful celebrity trainer and studio owner, Amrose Fitness. For over a decade, I worked in the physical health space, helping people connect to their strength and vitality. I ran the marathons, did spartans, tough mudders, won awards in my gym, trained with hundreds of clients and what I found without the mental, emotional and spiritual work, the results carried very unsatisfactory results.

In 2020, I tragically lost my beloved brother – my ‘twin flame’ – to lifes darker sides. That loss changed me. It expanded my capacity to sit with others in their pain, to witness without turning away, and to hold space for both grief and hope.

Although I’m no stranger to trauma, I’m not defined by it. My upbringing gave me a grounding in spirituality and purpose, and I believe healing can include lightness, humor, and joy alongside the hard work. My own journey through movement, breath and meditation taught me how to release past pain and live more fully in the present.

Becoming a mother deepened my perspective, and therapy emerged as the most honest and expansive expression of my purpose. This is the work that feels most true to me – supporting people in navigating the full spectrum of life’s beauty and brutality.

My Approach

I believe much of our struggle comes from a culture that avoids discomfort and idealises constant happiness. When we inevitably fall short of that impossible standard, it can feel like we’ve failed – but the truth is, life is complex, unpredictable and beautifully challenging. Humans are messy, contradictory and perfectly imperfect. Now more than ever, building our relationship to our own humanity as well as connecting with others is essential.

In therapy, my aim is to help you meet life as it is, with more resilience and self-understanding. Together, we’ll explore your experiences, uncover meaning in your story and create space for the changes you want to see. It is not about making your life easier, but making you stronger and softer so you can move through it with as much grace as possible.

What it’s like to work together

We start by creating a foundation of trust and open conversation. I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and pay attention to the patterns that show up in your life. Together, we explore how past experiences and present challenges intersect, at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

Along the way, I’ll share practical tools for emotional regulation and coping, so you feel supported both in and out of our sessions. Over time, our work becomes a space for deeper change – one where insight, skill-building and self-understanding grow side by side. There will be laughter, promise, as well as a type of support you may not have found in any other relationship. Our work is to create a bridge to where you are now to wherever you want to go. If you don’t know where that is yet, I will support you to find that clarity and understand what and where your authentic alignment is.

Therapeutic Modalities

I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and somatic practices to support self-regulation and insight. When it’s helpful, I integrate psychodynamic, existential, and narrative approaches to connect the patterns of today with deeper, often hidden, parts of the mind.

I work from a trauma-informed lens and honour what I call the culture of one – recognising that while we share universal human themes, every story and lived experience is deeply personal. My role is to help you develop sharper tools to navigate life’s challenges, not by outrunning hardship, but by learning new ways to meet and move through it.
